I haven't done any interships while in school and I finish in one semester. I have a bunch of projects started on github with only really one considered finished. Do I even stand a chance out there?

Depends on the school, and your interviewing skills. Coding on a whiteboard can be the biggest factor. I have friends who left projects off their resume at all, and still got cool internships at Amazon for instance.

Is it considered too much to put graphic design and colors like that in your resume? I've seen people argue that you should keep it one wide column and black and white. However this is talking only about the IT/etc/g/ industries since the example one is supposedly for an art director.
