use k-9 with APG. Works the same as using Thunderbird with Enigmail.
Supports pgp only tho
>>52155597
I'm aware, and I'm currently using K-9 + APG, but it only supports cleartext signing. Thunderbird + Enigmail on the other hand also supports PGP/MIME, but I'm not holding my breath for an Android Thunderbird release.

Not sure what phone you have but I know the S5 stock email app supports pgp/mime and s/MIME but I remember it being a pita to configure properly

Thunderbird was discontinued for desktop, so it's likely not happening.
But K-9 has too many bugs, despite it being awesome.
If a message gets too long, the database gets corrupted. It has to be a *Really* long message thread, like 25+ messages, but if they're all quoted inline it just breaks and freezes.

Isn't PGP preferable to MIME?

Sadly I have a crappy Huawei. :(

I thought Thunderbird was going to be developed independently, without Mozilla. However, they did release another stable version just before Christmas https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/38.5.0/releasenotes/
>K-9
That sucks, is Kaiten more stable?
>>52155761
I for one was, though. But I moved to mutt :)

What do you mean, preferable?
>>52155765
>preferable to MIME
yes but you can either sign messages pgp/mime where your message appears first and the pgp signature appears at the bottom of the email.
Inline makes your message appears between the beginning and end of the pgp signature.

although it could be argued setting up and using s/MIME is more user friendly
