I just don't understand this. There is no downside to seeding. It provides real benefit to others at essentially no cost to you. Cap the upload rate to 25% of your bandwidth and you won't even notice you're seeding.
I still use Windows XP and see no reason to upgrade.
I use it a VM with no network connection, so it's not like I'm running it as my main OS. But most people still consider this weird.

If you want to use enterprise linux, get fucking centos, if you can use centos and administrate it you can run and administrate rhel and then you actually have a distro on your fucking resume that companies actually care about.
My first job as a web developer paid $92k/year. While there I did about one total hour of work per week and showed up at about 11:45 every day just before free catered lunch. I spent most of my time programming a battleship game I could play in the chrome dev console that looked almost like work.
