What kind of flash drive does the average /g/entleman use? Do you use it for quick file transfer? Cold storage? Bootable O/S?
128Gb Patriot XT here. I partition it for different O/S installs as well as a large petition for storage.
i use whatever your mother has laying around to save the videos we make together.

card reader with 32gb mmc
so it's got multiple bootable partitions on it? huh never thought of that.... what OS's and why?
I just use my phone. It has a ~20MB write/ ~40MB read 64GB mSD chip.
I use usb share to create bootable and regular virtual usb flash drives.
plain old 32GB Sandisk and I have a handful of assorted 8GB drives lying around
Mostly use them for quick transfers, occasionally for OS installs.
The 32GB has PS1 ISOs on it so I can use it with my Pi (almost entirely so I can play Wipeout 3 Special Edition on the CRT in my room, kind of wish I had a display with HDMI in)
