I've had quad and dual SLi before, they don't work that great for the majority of games I play. No single GPU offers good enough performance to warrant bumping up my res, either.

Pleb me all you want, but I'm not going to waste my money on yet another dual-GPU setup and a TV to replace my plasma.

I want to go full SSD as much as any other, but that isn't happening anytime soon without some sort of storage miracle. We'll be getting 128TB SSDs in two to three years, but that shit will cost entire bodies.
>>
>>52117143
How good are those 4TB WDs? Thinking of picking up a 4TB HDD.
>>
>>52117171
They're decent. Last I read they park their headers very often causing bad happenings to your storage. There's WDIDLE for that, but I still haven't gotten to that. I use both of them as backup to the other 2TB drives.

Not all games work on highest settings but otherwise it's good. Also I'd get 16gb of ram because I like to have a million tabs open and still be able to play vidya
>>
>>52112035
Because 13 degrees or below is a fucking cold room.
Turn on the heating you cheap fuck.
>>
>>52118344
Why? 40 is a perfectly reasonable idle.
What is load temp?
>>
>>52118782
right good stuff. i don't plan on having everything max but as long as it's around 60fps and high settings i'm good.
i'm getting one stick of 8gb as my mobo has 2 slots, so i can maybe upgrade to 16gb in the future. but i don't think i'll chrome while playing games, as i've a habit to just close everything before i play games on this shitty pc kek.
>>
>>52118830
the problem is that Quadro's max temp is 55
