6500 and OC it.
>>

I am still using 3rd Gen on my laptop and even today I have no issues running software and games on my laptop. Unless you are an autistic gamer that wants Ultra settings with 1440p, a simple i3 can get the job done.

Not sure why people upgrade PC parts every year.

STICK A FINGER UP YOUR ASS

his desu senpai
>>
Intel® Xeon® E7-8890 v3, unless you don't want to edit Crysis 3 footage in Ultra 4K settings while streaming it and playing the game at the same time.
You're not poor are you?

>2.5GHz

Jesus Christ that's awful
>>
>>52098213
To show off i guess? i really feel with this, senpai. i honestly couldn't imagine spending money on hardware like a cpu with less than 3 years of use, even if the newer gen is 15% better and has better thermals
>>
>>52098252
OK I HAVE WHAT NOW
>>
>>52100626
Don't worry, you just hack into the chipset and then you can overclock it :^)

Still running my i5 2500k @ 4.5ghz and never have had any problems, probably gonna be good for next few years still

>buying a i5 instead a i7 because is a little more cheap
>buying a overpriced cooling system to OC the i5
/g/ logic

This. 2500K @ 4.1GHz only tho. Never gets hotter than 55C and idles at 30C.

I do a lot of shit, like run a bunch of ROS VMs, server VMs, IDE, media playback etc. all at the same time, no problem whatsoever.

It also runs my only game (cities skylines) on steady 60fps as well coupled with my GPU, so I don't see any need in upgrading the next 5 years.

I'm only upgrading if my CPU should die or can't handle my workload anymore.

Got a 15% overlock on my X5450 desu
