convince me not to return this thing
>>52062293
I won't. It's dumb and you should look into dedicated products instead of a do all device.
Buy a 2019 flagship device
it may have a resolution good enough for shit
>>52062293
That thing will be worth $10 next year
Cold hard cash holds its value forever
>>52062293
No.
>>52062293

I don't want to include inflation because to lazy to type
>>52062333
honestly, I don't think the market is ready yet. we can't cram enough pixels in the screens at a decent enough framerate to make it immersive. But if you want to be an early adopter, I'd recommend the Vive if I had to pick one in the near future.
Return it and get yourself a google cardboard viewer. You can't go wrong with 5-10 bucks for a novelty toy.
>>52062315
>cash
>store of value
LOL.
>>52062315
$10 will always be $10, but that won't help if everything suddenly costs 3x more.
>>52062441
It is apperent, no one understands inflation
>>52062333
suicide
nice trips though
>>52062408
this
>>52062293
Google cardboard is exactly the same thing except it only costs like $7. Any other VR utilizing your phone is a ripoff.
>>52062293
I built one myself for 2€ but there is no app to use it for. I regret my 2€ so you must be really ashamed to have spent 99 for this shit.
>>52062521
Yeah, but it has no band and is uncomfortable af, whereas the Gear VR is comfy as fuck.
>>52062293
Try VR porn. There are literally hundreds of scenes already.
