i have one too. the keyboard is shit. the spacebar will usually double press, and the trackpad is so wide that i have to change my typing style just so that my palms wont move the mouse cursor by accident when im typing. my 10 year old thinkpad is better than this piece of shit.

Depends entirely on what you do, if you use AutoCAD or intensive adobe stuff I would definitely go with the SB since that has a GPU in the keyboard dock. - better for professionals.
But as far as utility goes SP3 or SP4 will both do the same jobs, but the SP4 will last a little bit longer. (but I personally prefer SP3's 1920×1280 over the SP4's resolution) - better for students.
