I just made a side build from an i5 2400S i had lying around from a friend's old iMac that he was tossing. I put it together with a bunch of spare parts I had lying around and ordered a micro atx 1155 board. All I need now is a CPU, what is a good GPU that would pair nicely with the i5-2400S? Thanks guys, just need a few ideas of what to look for then I'll delete the thread.
gtx 750 ti

What makes you say GTX 750 ti? That is one of the cards I was looking at. Think it is good value for the money?

950, 380,

not him, but it has : lower power consumption, good for mid-low 1080p gaming. You should buy the newer version the 950
>>52019115
xDDDD okay buying two of each right now

What the actual fuck is wrong with you anon? Did swallowing so much make you into this? You MUST be 18 to post here

GTX 950 for a Sandy Bridge processor? That seems like a bottleneck desu.

I suggested the 750 ti pretty much for those reason already listed.
I honestly didn't know there was a 950, so get that if the price is the same I guess.
>>52019166
A little bit of bottleneck shouldn't matter
:^)

No 950 and 960 are shit price/performance.
380 is the best for shekels. 750 ti doesnt need any power connectors so might be an option if you have a weak psu.
>>52019217
thanks f.a.m i did not know
>>52019192
The 950 is a good 30-40% more powerful than the 750 ti and is actually only about 15% less powerful than the 960.
I have an EVGA SSC at 1500 MHz and it maxes game at 1080p.
OP here, I have a GTX 760 in my main build, should I just balls to wall upgrade to next gen 900 series and throw the GTX 760 in the new micro build?
>>52019287
Yeah, just find a good deal like $240 for a 970 or something
>>52019287
900 series is shit unless you go 980 ti
