You closed my tabs for THIS? Without permission, you closed 50+ tabs that I've had open for months, for this? That's it, I am fucking done.

What's a browser that
1. Can look good
2. Has a way to block ads even if it's not as good as adblock. It's ok if I have to manually add html regions to be blocked or something like that.
3. Respects its users

I was ok with most firefox changes but the latest "address bar search suggestion shit that does not get disabled even if you disable it" and now this is too much.

This is what I'm referring to by "address bar search suggestions that can't be disabled" btw. Because pressing enter to google whatever is in the address bar wasn't good enough. Better take the place of the first history result slot that I used to use 95% of the time, for a feature that I can already get by pressing fucking enter. Now I have to either press down arrow twice or click. Does not get disabled even after disabling it.

not op, but i use my tabs as temporary bookmarks. firefox doesn't even load the tab until it is selected, so it doesn't use any resources. it's more convenient than clicking through a bunch of outdated looking menus to get to your bookmarks.

>>
>>52010950
It's much more convenient to have tabs than use that shitty bookmark interface. Tab groups are good because you can have many tabs hidden in a different tab bar, and switch when needed. Good for porn.

>>52010916
It was empty.

>>52010793
I looked in the folder and restored the session from a few days ago. So I guess I'm an idiot for making this thread and should shut up. But I'm still switching browsers.
There's really nothing unbelievable about having 50 tabs open for months though. They're not loaded unless you click on them.

>>52010757

>>52011502
Now that I have the session back and can count, it's approximately 30 programming related tabs for different topics, 5 music tabs, 4 game related tabs, 11 porn tabs.

I thought it was common for people to have many tabs open forever. Surprised at the reaction desu.

>>52011443
As mentioned above, it was empty. Had to get an older backup from the session backup folder. I didn't know that it kept multiple backups aside from the "current" backup. "Current" one was gone in my case so it showed nothing in the browser's session restore.

>>
icecat
>>
>>52016572
Bookmarks are for major things, or really important things you can't afford to lose. If you bookmarked every little tab it would turn into a goddamn mess and be difficult to organize. You'd be constantly adding and deleting bookmarks. Not to mention, you often only need a specific post or something. Your choices are leave the tab open or copy it into a notepad file or something (which I sometimes actually do).

Say you're playing a game and have like 20 tabs open about that game; forums, /vg/ thread, guides, wiki info pages, cheats, etc. You might bookmark the wiki or something, but you'd still want all the other shit open in tabs. It wouldn't be important enough to bookmark, but losing all those tabs is a huge pain in the ass, especially if you found some searching through forums and forget what search terms you used.

If you don't have a backup it doesn't exist.

Just use the host file you dumbshit. install dwb or luakit.

1. Night launch theme.
2. Open the customize view where you can move toolbars and buttons around. Remove everything except what you want to have left.
That's it.
If you're referring to the buttons at the bottom, that's part of the stupid start page, and it's not part of my firefox setup. If you want those I assume you'd just use the "new empty tabs open the mozilla start page" option.

By looking good I meant ability to be customized to fit most people's subjective preferences of good. In my case I mean exactly what you can see in the OP. Clean simple interface (yet functional because everything is available with hotkeys), clean icons and no bullshit.
