A few years ago I worked at an office where people smoked. Lots of people. We had to walk off campus to do it, but hoards of people didnon every break.
At my current office, vaping has clearly caught on. Not just with fat nerds like me though. Cute women, old men, and everyone in between vapes. We do it outside, there's always 5+ people outside the entrance vaping away on giant box mods.
I get that you don't like it because you never smoked and you're in high school, but adult office workers used to smoke cigarettes and have largely replaced them with vaping. It's a massive improvement for everyone.

There most certainly are things that you can do with a smartwatch. I know this since I have one. I often check Telegram/Google Talk/e-mail I get with my watch. I can just read it there and decide if it's important enough for me to get my phone and reply. I could reply with speech recognition but I don't want to do that in noisy places. I have replied with something quick like "ok/yes/no" while driving, I can say it out loud while keeping my eyes on the road. I can also switch my phone to silent mode very easily and it's subtle, so I can do it in two seconds and nobody notices me checking my phone. There are situations where checking your phone could be rude, like in job interviews.

I would rather get a Tesla than any of those that you listed. It's not cheaply made and has tons of features. It's also safer than fuel cars and nothing is burning while you drive. It doesn't even need lubrication the same way fuel engines need since those have so many moving parts. If there's not enough good oil in them they just melt together mid-drive.
Also nothing is as efficient power wise than electric motors. That power should be created elsewhere in controlled environments where pollution can be minimized. I have a fuel car and I can't stand it, knowing there's a better invention already out there. I can't wait for the whole traffic to be electric cars.

I don't mind that people like fountain pens that much except for the fact that I've never seen someone simply use a fountain pen without using that opportunity to shill it on me, and give me this retarded look of derision whenever i rebuffed their efforts to get me to use a pen design that my dad probably wouldn't recognize.
(and i have used/do own a fountain pen; it's a lamy brand and came highly reviewed. at best, it was adequate - at worst, it was scratchy and using it felt contrived even after 2 weeks of dedicated use)

I know I shouldn't respond...
but people (myself included) get crazy wrist pain using normal mouses. Trackballs make my computing experience much better.
And if you have a high-res monitor, trackballs get from one side to the other quicker than a mouse. Even better if you have multiple monitors.
