I just finished installing Arch. What graphical interface should I use? Gnome/KDE/XFCE...? I like simplicity and customization.

I use XFCE

gnome you gotta beat into shape if you want to mess with it so i'd avoid that

xfce if you like panels and non-tiling, openbox also

kde if you like a traditional desktop, plasma 5 is pretty nice, it is fairly heavy though. very simple to customize

i3/awesome/whatever if you want tiling, they're all pretty similar and customizable

Why does nobody mention lxde or lxqt? I find it the most enjoyable of all.

Fluxbox or Pekwm. Both will look like utter shit until you do something with them.

if you want tiling
>xfce / lxde
if you want a regular desktop thats light on resources
>gnome 3
is terrible. only use it if you want a tablet focused desktop
>kde 5
a regular desktop that's been modernized but buggy and heavy on resources.
>openbox
if you want a extremely lightweight craft your own regular desktop
