What if something corrupts your OS? Huh? Seriously dude.. RAID is a way to overcome harddisk failure with redundancy, that is ALL.

I do not have a lot of things that need backing up.
Most of the stuff on my hard drive can easily be redownloaded. The only stuff I'm worries about is uni/work related archives. I have those on multiple cloud servers just in case.
