Is there any way to run one single computer as two? I've got 2 keyboards, 2 mice and 2 screens and me and my friend want to play runescape.

You will immediately cease and not continue to access the site if you are under the age of 18.

I really didn't want to have to set up a VM, is there any other way?
>>51924214
I'm 20 but we used to play runescape alot a long time ago and he wanted to try the new mode on classic.

If you have two graphics chips and run linux you might be able to run two instances of X and use a set of hardware on each. I've never done this though, just a theory.
So she stuffs her bra now?
I would think a VM is your best bet like the other anon said. Just download Oracle Box and Ubuntu it'll take 30 minutes to get that shit set up.

I don't use reddit on a regular basis, but their wiki on building a PC is where I first started on that subject.
Remembered this subject in the FAQ.

No seriously, then it's portable and nobody has the advantage.

also STFU Kevin and or Cameron.
All the people suggesting a VM, have you thought about how to address the computer having 2 sets of io?
2 keyboards, 2 mice, 2 headphones, etc.
I too am curious if this will work, I'd love to play old shit like halo ce with my friend when he visits.

Yeah, you tell each VM what devices to appear to it.
Didn't Linus do it? Just look it up on jewtube

Linus did it, go watch it
Here you go Anon. http://www.ibik.ru/downloads-free-trial
Just google "Windows 7 Multiseat"
Here's another.

Ah that makes sense.
Wouldn't you need 2 of everything though?
2 graphics cards, 2 sound cards, 2 network cards?

I'm not even mad you linked to reddit but why r/pcmasterrace? That subreddit is honestly worse than /g/ for real.

Not if you have enough ports on your existing devices and they can share resources between VMs.
Ditto for a solution with running X.org or whatever for multiple clients.
