Down the drain with Chrome's only good feature, which was its design. Exoect bland colours.. I mean white all over the place, 4px toolbars padding, wasted space all over the place in settings and context menus, and so on..

It was shit, now it's worse.

looks excellent
>>
>>51917299

I agree. What version is this? When does it come out?
>>
>>51917281
The only thing that annoys me in that image is the double scrollbars.
>>
>>51917281

Looks really good m8
>>
>>51917344

Oh god dammit. Why didn't I see that before. Fuck man.
>>
I don't see any difference besides it being a bit grey now.
>>
Neat, now we wait half a year longer and can enjoy a broken version of this in Firefox.
>>
>>51917281
>font are still shit and blurry
NOPE nope nope
>>
>>51917281
Fucking finally. Was getting real sick of the glossy gradientshit. That shit belongs in 2009 with Windows 7.

wasting space
>>
>>51917487
Because bland colours are so much better..
>>
>>51917281
Canary had this months ago, kek.
>>
>>51917281
Besides the two scrollbars it looks fine. Those scroll bars are triggering my autism.
>>
>>51917281
Might as well start using firekuck right? ;^)
>>
doesnt seem much different desu, still ugly trash honestly, their are some rounded corners left for no reason and its not as flat as it should be
when edge gets extensions i might switch for the superior design desu
>>
>>51918042
>a pre-alpha build had features that the standard release has months ago
WELL FUCK A DUCK, WHO'DA THUNK IT

If you're going to be an elitist shithead at least do it as coherently as possible.
>>
>>51917487
>That shit belongs in 2009
And flat shit belongs in 1995. What's your point?

Flat design from 95 is very different from a 2015 flat design and both look good.
At the same time, glossy and over-the-top skeuomorphic design has never looked good and I have no idea how in the fuck it stayed relevant for such a long time.
I know it all comes down to a personal taste, but minimalistic flat design is objectively superior with its clarity and cleanliness.
inb4 hurr it looks like a fisher price store
>>
Thank god they finally improved Chrome's godawful design.
>>
>>51917281
just go to chrome://flags and disable it faggot
>>
Mine doesn't look like that
>>
can you open tabs with middle click?
>>
It also applies to custom themes, it looks beautiful.
>>
Google invents material design as the rules their designers are supposed to follow and you are still surprised that it is used on chrome like every other Google product
>>
Finally, they're getting rid of that eye burning white. Also, nice thread OP.
>>
I just opened chrome to check this shit out, I think it's up to date but it looks the same as before
the fuck
>>
>>51919715
Yes
>>
Thank god. Fuck all you gradient faggots, go back to windows vista. Flat design is leagues better than your over complicated busy "functional," garbage.
>>
>>51917344
I am with you on this, otherwise it looks great.
>>
>>51919924
like middle clicking anywhere in the top to open a new tab.?
>>
>>51919860
Are you using a stable channel? Try to switch to Dev or Canary.
Or maybe it's something to enable manually in the flags tab.

I enabled it, restarted browser and it looks nothing like in OPs pic, still ugly gradients all over. What am I doing wrong /guys?
>>
For those wondering how to get this look, open about:config and enable all the experimental Material Design changes.
>>
I like material design

>>
>>51920290
I'm not saying the old UI looked good, or that the new UI looks good, just that Chrome does and always has looked like shit.
>>
>>51920231
>>51920327
can't you just share yours?

>>
Man that looks so much better, thank god.
