Embarcadero just called me saying I have exceed my maximum Delphi XE8 installs by and that they want to have an auditing at my company to make sure I'm not using pirated software.
Are they bullshitting me?
Can they really tell how many installations of Delphi I have in my network or are they just making up excuses to investigate us?
What can I do to not get sued out of the ass?

I'm a professional photographer and there's not a single piece of software on my Mac that's legit. I'd rather save up and buy a new lens than waste money on software, besides its not like anyone would actually look into my installs to see what's under the about menu - photography is one of those non-professions that no one really cares about enough to audit.

XE2 simply wouldn't activate with extra installs on the same key. Seems that Embarcadero went all-happy merchant on its customers now.
