Cars can be shielded so a ground isn't totally necessary, but don't take my word for it.

m8 they are literally 20× more expensive than you think, you're better off saving up for a thinkpad or if ya really want that durability meme (and is actually the better durability option. Getac's tablets or the Dell one that Linustechtips covered.
