I wish someone would build a plex clone around libmpv so there'd finally be a streaming box player than can actually handle MKV ordered chapters. For whatever reason the Kodi and Plex devs just can't be arsed to bother with the feature and it's infuriating.

Is youtube-dl working for anyone on Windows for youtube videos? mpv just closes when I try to watch youtube videos on it. Using 2015.12.13.
finally, another mpv thread. Posted in last one but it was pruned before I got back to my PC.
I have the issue that nnedi3 is fucking slow (Windows 10, R9 390).
Putnnedi3-upload=shader:prescale=nnedi3:nnedi3-neurons=64
into my config as Anon suggested, and it got better both with the shader option as well as with setting backend=dxinterop.
But no matter what number of neurons I use, it is choppy. Some anon said it may have to do with OpenGL drivers on Windows, can anyone confirm / deny this?

SVP while producing 60fps or higher also produces rather a lot of artifacts. You're relatively fine if you watch animated stuff, live-action stuff will be very noticeable however.
To be honest, I don't care for care for it, but I am of the opinion that the industry standard of 24fps is utter bullshit and 60fps should be standard on TV as well as in cinema.
