I bought a Z3 because it has a great battery, great screen and build quality, and looks sexy.
It will be my phone until it breaks, I have no need to ever upgrade, the only thing I regret is not choosing the mint or copper instead.

Probably getting a Galaxy S4 next month. Been using an HTC Desire 601 for about 2 years now. Basically use it to beat off via Plex, read 4chan, and keep track of which episodes of my shows I've watched. My only worry about upgrading is that it might be a pain to get older versions of QuickPic now, from before they got bought out.

Mobile gaming probably has the highest average age of players. Old people play candy crush, toddlers play angry birds, and everyone else Clash of Clans. It doesn't mean that it's good but you can't deny mobile gaming has infected every age group.

I just got a smartphone because I saved the money to but now I feel bad about spending so much money because I basically have no one to call on it.

I don't like talking on the phone. I do need a phone with a large screen though because I look at it a lot.
If someone calls me, it's either my parents or some faggots that want my money in which case they leave a voicemail and I never check those either.

now that that's out of the way. I think keeping up with iOS devices is retarded because iOS is very streamlined and efficient. there's no real reason for an upgrade because it's very well made and developers don't have to worry about compatibility. if it works on one device, it'll work on every one of them.
However with android every company adds their own bullshit to stock android which can mess with compatibility and it may actually be in your best interest to keep up with flagship models with better hardware just to be able to handle apps that aren't optimized for your device.

tfw i used the galaxy s captivate for 5 years and overclocked it to play ps1 games.
it still works but i can't charge it through the usb port anymore for whatever reason. i've had to use a clip charger to charge the battery externally then place it back in to use it.
i'm finally upgrading to a OPO though. should be here next week.
