I have the next two years free, if I start learning programming for about 3+ hours a day, could I turn it into a career?

Get a job Hippy.
Yes, but the best jobs come from good connections. You can only get those in school if you have no experience.

...how?

Injury. I probably wont be able to get a physical job again (Like my last few). I have always been interested in coding but would only do this plan if its viable.

If you actually do that every single day then you are going to be quite good.
Go to www.udacity.com and do their courses. They are free if you press the "access course materials" button when enrolling. You CAN get a "microdegree" from them, I don't know how useful that is, but the courses are world class and you can go from a beginner to quite advanced. As long as you keep it up every single day and save what you program to some sort of repository like git (there is a git course there by the way) then you are going to do fine because then you have some work to show for it.

Thank you anon

Ah, I see now. If you go through the catalog, the individual courses are free.

They try to make money on it, but everything can be accessed for free.
Take this GREAT introductory Python course:
https://www.udacity.com/course/intro-to-computer-science--cs101
It has a "free trial" button, which is a attempt to get you to buy the rest of it. AND they have a blue "access course materials" button which gives you the same access, but for free. It WONT give you a certificate though.
Its possible, but you have to be devoted
