Reminder
Why bother backing up if you use a virus free OS such as Linux?

I don't back and nothing ever happened to me

I'm not seeing the issue there?
Thanks, OP. Would kill me to lose all these dank peps.
Funny that you post this since the power went out here today and the UPS burned through the battery. ESXi went down hard but all servers came back up just fine.
So I got lucky, but the lesson learned is to spend some time this week configuring vSphere to actually utilize the Veeam server I never finished setting up, setting up a backup share on the NAS, and then find a good cloud backup site that accepts several terabytes worth of encrypted backup jobs.
My policy is that desktops/laptops don't need to be backed up, anything you're doing locally and not on a server is something that isn't important anyway.
