It's funny because OSX is a far better OS than Windows could ever hope to be, and in general people who know a lot about how OSX works have far more knowledge about how computers work than people who are knowledgeable in windoze.
Just because the majority of Apple users have the gall to not devote their entire life to knowing every in and out of a computer, doesn't mean that every Apple user is stupid.
Most CS students working on windows are struggling suffering with pic related and just adding shit to the PATH is a painful process.

What about NetBSD? I tend to prefer it and use it the most of any *BSD but can I still be in the club? I also use Slackware from time to time.
I've met plenty of technologically knowledgeable OSX users but I've never met a tech savvy Windoze user who wasn't a pencil pushing suit.

I use linux, so my hardware is cheaper and can do more, AND I get package manager with a unix system.
And on an intel thinkpad, everything just works.
