>tfw SSD might be slowing down
I guess I don't know how to set up my Windows right
>>51800165
You were a fool for making a SSD your boot drive.
>he fell for the meme
>>51800217
>tfw
I'll take my HDD and terabytes of storage any day.
>>51801342
And I'll take both.
Seriously, especially with some solid SSDS for less than 100, 0 reason not to get one.
Although, now that terabyte hdds are cheap enough, I've finally moved to a full ssd build.
Now I don't hear anything from my computer at night, it's pretty nice.
My main file server is in my closet, so the noise from the disks doesn't make it out.

>Not making your ssd your boot + program drive
Hasn't slowed down for me, and if it does, I'll get a new one.
>>51801367
terabyte ssds I mean*
>There was literally a post about how reliable and trouble free SSDs are and how they should be used as OS/program drives with stories of personal successes.
Fuck off SSDs are fine
>>51800165
you using the SSD software anon? not sure if windows has trim like linux does but that keeps them good as new
>solid state
Loses speed, health, and data over time
T-thanks /g/
>>51800165
>tfw my 5 year old SSD is still at its best peak
Feels good man
>>51800165
Use parted magic and the "ATA Security Erase" to gain the speed of your ssd back.

>best peak
