If Apple are so insecure that they try a concept like this a few years from now I will laugh.
Keep in mind that a physical keyboard slider will make the phone thicker, and Apple have proven that all they care about when designing a phone is how thin they can make it. They even plan to remove the headphone jack on their next phone.

That looks like it would slide out from the bottom of the phone rather than being like the Blackberry which was the screen sliding, effectively.

Ever since getting my Q10 these "rectangular" smartphones just feel awkard in my hands. Just way too big and clumsy. I wouldn't get any phone that doesn't have a front keyboard now.
I miss the slide from behind keyboards from A decade ago. I would like if my galaxy was a little thicker with a slide keyboard. Though, android already has a pretty solid onscreen.

They would literally never do this.
The reason they use an onscreen keyboard and have minimal hardware buttons was because you don't always need the keyboard to be there.
The idea is, have an interface that's as flexible as possible. You only need the keyboard to be there when typing, not when scrolling through web or playing flappy bird.
Any mechanism they would do for sliding it away would take up too much space (that keyboard is like larger than the battery).
