Is there a program I can use to crack the password on a rar file I made? I have a general idea of the passwords I'd use. Including numbers/letters. If that makes it any easier. My general password is a sequence of gibberish followed by numbers. But I can't figure out what it is now

I once briefly looked into this and the only thing I could find was some script that would take 6 hours to run without a guarantee that it would work so I didn't even bother waiting that long. A lot of them seemed to come with malware as well so I abandoned it.

i remember a prohram a few years back that used cuda to bruteforce rar passwords try binging something related to that.

You won't be able to brute force a 128bit aes encrypted file if you have a complicated, long password for your file. You can try but you'd be wasting your time
Winrar uses AES with a 256 bit keystrength. Ain't no way you are cracking that any time soon, Tyrone

If you think it's 9chars or below you can recover it easily
Otherwise, you'd need to have specific informations regarding the password, like what letters your are sure that you used, or sure that you didn't used.
Source : I spent 6 hours trying to crack a 12 letter password on a zip for porn purposes.
