How do people go about naming software projects?
I wrote a simple issue tracking tool with a database to replace an Excel system that my engineering project team are working with as management won't allow us to buy a real one or use open source.
Now it needs a name and I'm damned if I can come up with anything. Any ideas?

I can't see why you can't call it "<Company name> Issue Tracker"
Or just
>wing it
and call it something retarded like IshTrak

Sounds like it is to track problems with the company

Call it ARES
ARES
Replaces an
Excel
System
Or if you don't want a badass god of war for you name go with ARAES Replaces An Excel System. And then it's pronounced like "arrays" so you got "well-you're-not-wrong" points whenever you talk about it in the office.
