New Inspiron 15 7000 series
>FHD non glare IPS
>GTX 960
>Full keyboard
>$799
Find a flaw
>no ssd
>hybrid hdd
ehh, could be replaced, but it'll still cost ya some dollaridoos
>car in front has unrealistic fenders
>it's aerodynamics suck ass
>the police car looks like one of those generic muscle cars that are not used for car chases AT ALL
>and it's still taking a kick in the anus by the unrealistic muscle hatchback
>trackpad or whatever that nigger shit is called is in the wrong side
There you go.
>799
How about I just buy a refurbished acer from groupon for $260.
Spoiler: I did that.
it's not pretty like a macbook
>>51756002
nobody uses numpads.
>>51756106
What cpu? I'm looking at getting an acer R11 that's being sold for 299 on Microsoft deals in 2 days, but it's only using some quad core intel N3700.
I just need it to use in bed/bathroom/main pc rendering.
>>51756123
That's not a flav, fucking nigger.
That's like complaining when you get a complementary fries with your burger.
well it's 15 inches
what's the point of a 15 inch laptop?
looks like plasticy shitty build quality
your le super fast gaymin laptop will fall apart in 2 years unless you sit it on a desk and never move it in which case you should've gotten a desktop
>>51756123
I do.
>buying anything other than a green CPU with 4 gig of ram and an ssd.
Just use the extra bucks on upgrading your desktop.
>>51756002
Seems fine, but I bought an Acer e5-573g with i5-5200u for 350€, replaced hhd with a 250gb EVO ssd, added 4gb of ram and replaced the screen with a non glare fhd ips one (AUO b156han01.2).
Total cost: ~530€ (22% vat included).
>>51756002
>GTX 760
There's one. I'm not some degenerate who needs to play games on my laptop.
>No clit
>awful trackpad
>bezel couldn't be anymore bigger
>looks like someone painted a toshiba 300$ laptop in black
>>51756002
It's about 3 years too late.
>yfw matte FHD IPS should have been the standard back then
>yfw discrete graphics are apparently 1900x more expensive in a laptop, and like FHD should have been the standard in lieu of competent intel integrated graphics
>yfw nobody wants a fucking 15" hunk of plastic anymore except fucking freshman "nerds" who just want their parents to buy them something expensive that they'll just play LoL on anyways
>yfw numpad usefulness for 99% of the population
>>51756463
oh, and...
THE FUCKING ARROW KEYS ARE THE WRONG FUCKING SIZE RRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>51756123
I use the numpad about every other day, anon. You try entering tons of numbers (and doing math) on the number row. Compare it to the numpad. Numpad is quicker
>Dell
Well that was quick
Its was $50 less on black friday but yeah that's the best one for gaymen at that price range
I would still go for the UX305LA though
>>51756002
you didn't even mention the i5 6300hq? that's one of the best parts. it's not some ULV shit.
>>51756002
No trackpoint, no buy.
>>51756002
I would honestly say that the dell chromebook 13 is the best value for the money if you consider build quality and battery life important to you.
>>51756486
I'm a CE student at uni. I was a cashier. I understand and appreciate the usefulness of a numpad in those situations, but most people just don't care.
Numpads will disappear as a standard built in laptop peripheral in the same way that optical drives are finally leaving.
>>51756538
lol what
>>51756534
Then at this rate your last chance to ever buy a laptop again is rapidly approaching.
>>51756463
>mfw your arguments are personal tastes only
wow, yes op, this looks like a great $800
can you fuckin read cunt?
>>51756002
for $800 you'd be able to build a $600 desktop that would last much longer and be much more powerful, and two 23" 1920x1080p IPS monitors.
kys
>>51756626
pay attention you fucking nignog

>>51756556
It's the best laptop that you can get with great build quality, battery life, and 1080p IPS display for around $400.
>>51756641
Some people actually need portability you incel NEET asswipe.
We all know that desktops are cheaper than laptops.
>>51756575
>implying you could review a laptop from the last 10 years without dragging in personal tastes
They all do the same things, and have for a loooooonnnnnngggggg time. More so now thanks to Moore's law slowing down.
Every laptop has a display, keyboard, usb, and wifi. Users can browse the internets, fuck with documents, watch videos etc. on just about all of them and any preference or lack thereof towards a laptop by an individual is based on their _personal tastes_ in other/extra peripherals (like numpads and higher resolution).
Was it my shitty opinion that 768p is/was the industry standard for laptops? Yea, that's one hot opinion for you. But it's a common one.
>>51756696
no, you definitely actually don't.
>>51756106
>acer
>>51756662
only for that price if you're willing to get shot while grabbing it from your mailbox :^)
>>51756002
Trackpad is shit and the screen bleeds a ton with dark colors. I'm sending it back. GTX 960/i7 or no, it's not very usable.
>>51756035
the model on amazon has a 256gb SSD for the same price
i'm very deeply considering this myself. I already have a strong desktop and a tablet for basic mobile office work, but it would be helpful at university to be able to bring a strong machine to a lab or classroom for intense CAD, or a friend's place for some LAN gaming.
does anybody have this?
>>51756035
>no ssd
amazon.com/dp/B015PYYDMQ/
>>51756811
Speccy of it
>>51756808
i'd rather get shot that killed by some poisonous aussie snake
>>51756811
weeeeelpppp
>>51756808
hahahaha holy fuck
nice one senpai very strong argument
>>51756002
>full keyboard
There's the flaw
>>51756811
That's why I recommended >>51756538
You can't really play games on it and a little limited on Chrome OS but I think that's the only dell laptop with a glass trackpad that's not from the XPS series.
>>51756905
Should anyone really need a full keyboard with a numpad if they know how to type properly?
>>51756924
No, the numpad is pretty useless 95% of the time if you know how to type.
>>51756204
you're right that's too big
>>51756552
nah, the numbpad is the standard for laptops >15inches
Is the MSI gs70 (970m)worth it if I can get it for $1300?
>>51756822
>>51756827
nice
just hope the build quality lasts
>>51756434
cons: it's fucking acer
