Eh, I used awesome for a few months and tried out i3 for a few days but I ended up going back to floating WM's/DE's.

Its really got for developers. Morelike perfect. Fast window switching, easy to switch bewteen virtual desktops...it improves workflow.
With a de you need to dick with the mouse a lot, which is slow
i3 is perfect for any type of development, i can assure you that
while a de is better for watching porn and word processing

Thanks. What really makes it comfy though is setting up compiz to do all the shit I want with keyboard shortcuts so I can switch windows and workspaces with ease. Made me never wanna go back to windows. I have a dual boot on this machine but I never use it.
