I'm 31 so was online mid 90s. I didn't really start using it a lot until around the late 90s when Novalogic released the original Delta Force game (from which all modern FPS shooters took their influence from... I remember it being one of the few that included bullet drop over distance at the time.) and I spent a lot of time on our squads forum and making TDM maps. I was using mIRC back then and so got involved in mIRC scripting, which lead to programming development. I remember before MS closed the chatrooms someone released a script and dll that allowed you to connect to the MSN chatrooms with an IRC client. The Lulz to be had, logging in and flooding swastika ASCII art on main chat and hopping out before you got hit with the ban hammer. The mods were useless.

What made me realize this is that I saw a lot of ugly fuck friends dating hot or girls that I'd smash( I have high standards). I always wondered if they had big dicks or if they had godly personalities, but no. It turns out the girls were insecure as fuck.
