I there's kind of a spectrum here. Stuff like PCI-E SSDs and extra RAM are fairly decent futureproofers (they'll become more useful as software gets more intense) but there really isn't any benefit in a workstation graphics card for most of us.
And it's all anecdotes but I definitely feel a difference between the PCI-E SSD in one of my machines and the SATA SSD in the other. The difference isn't colossal but it's perceptible, particularly when doing anything I/O heavy.

Be careful of this. 80 plus platinum is nice to reduce noise of fan, though, and ran is fine to keep you until new ddr comes out, but desu you can play countless classic games that don't eat your PC, and you'll probably be better for it, because they're usually classic not just for gfx and killing processors.

I am very consern about power usage and relabilty of my home server and desktop, by last psu burn 2 disk and a motherboard. My laptop broke hdd 4 months after buying. My portable hdd, broke too, but it was mostly my fathers. My sdd cart with keypass had bad sector and cleared my passwords.
I just hate my life and i am miserable, everything keps broking even few moths old laptop, i just want to kill myself and all that computer. To be said yes i made backups, but that is too consuming, and by shitty 1 mb upload i can't upload to cloud. I have lost countless data, my source codes, paintings, memorys, photos, files that are not avelibe anymore, some of that private traker porn that is hard to get. And i am sucidal everytime i power on computer and i fear that some power grid will shit on my voltage control again. Sorry for blog
