Why is it that "AMD Gaming Evolved" games always run like butter and look impressive while "Gameworks" games run like shit and look like console ports?

more like gaming evolved into some crap lol

Because AMD will help the devs optimize their code to run better in general while at the same time optimizing their drivers. This is why these games run good on NVIDIA cards as well.

Gameworks is all about implementing code for "cool" effects, nothing else.
>>
>>51695351
Because NVIDIA GameWorks is a massive piece of shit with which even NVIDIA users have performance issues if they aren't on the latest architecture with all the tessellation power.

>it's a bad thing they try to be better than what most people can achieve.
>screw them for trying to find ways to make art look better

http://www.amd.com/en-us/markets/game/featured/battlefield-hardline#

look how amazing the framerate of amd gaming evolved title. at 1080p it reach like 100+ fps.

unlike gayworks (assassins creed) 980 sli struggling to reach 100fps.

Dude, AMD CPU for gaming are terrible
>>
>>51695778

op said any games with "AMD Gaming Evolved" is run buttery smooth unlike gameworks.

>>51695632
this anon showing how good amd gaming evolved title (battlefield hardline) than the other NVidia gameworks title (assassins creed)
>>
>>51695778
Saying they're terrible shows epic levels of fanboy mannerisms. Top end AMD chips run games just fine. 1080p on 1440p with GTX 970, 980, Fury or something similar and you're looking at 60FPS on nearly all titles at 1080p, and 35-55 on 1440p. Don't be a retard and just say they're bad. They're not as good as Intel, no, of course not, but they're designed by a company 10% the size of Intel, and cost about 60% of the Intel equivalent, and then still do a job that's so close you need to put it in a graph to see the difference.

Car 1 drives at 90 mph. Car 2 drives at 115mph. OMG Car 1 is terrible. Not even a car made for driving hurhur etc
>>
>>51695778
That's relative isnt it. 8350 still competitive with same price i3 on that one worst case game. If the $100 price difference between an 8350+am3-970 mobo and a 4690k+z97 mobo gets you from a gtx 960 to a gtx 970 in your budget then they are great for gaming.

>>51695351
That's not entirely true.

Just Cause 2: uses CUDA effects for water simulation, has exclusive Nvidia options, one of the most well optimized games for PC

Hitman Absolution: AMD gaming evolved, bad CPU utilization in some areas(i.e the tennis court right on the first few minutes of gameplay)

top kek.

>>51695351
love how the i7 930 even without overclock is still a beast.

def the last CPU worth buying from intel before they went full faggot
>paying 30% the total price of th eCPU
>JUST for the ability to overkek
>oerkeking gives at best 5% performance increase

intel, top kuk

My rig will be 2 years old in February.
FX 9590 R9 290X
Almost all games run great for me, except games with an Nvidea logo on the startup screen. Its getting a little dated though, I was thinking of running 2 R9 nanos in crossfire for my next rig, but I might need to go with Intel for the processor, so I mind as well go full jew with an nvidea gpu too

Get a 5th gen i7 with like 40 pcie lanes.
Your crossfire setup will appreciate the bandwidth.
Imagine the scaling with 16x/16x crossfire.
>>
>>51696774

gta5 and far cry 4 also have really good performance on both sides of the coin and are gameworks titles, the bad gameworks titles are usually shitty console ports
>>
>>51695351
Blame devs for making shit engines and unoptimized crap. Big publisher and investor deadlines ruin everything.
>>

Yeah I'm not seeing any underclocking...
>>

Wait for zen.
>>
>>51695610
Someone post the massively tesselated rock.

Its mostly unecessarily and its just a means to push people onto the high end nvidia cards. A lot less about providing the most attractive gaming experience, i can assure you that
>>
>>51695351
Because Nvidia don't care about killing performance on AMD cards, and even their own older cards, in order to make their newer stuff look better. That's why they're going nuts with tesselation right now, since Maxwell has a large advantage over GCN and Kepler in that respect.
