I tried diamonds, but they made the picture to cold. Gold is better, it makes the picture warmer.
Of course in the summer I switch to diamonds.

Just get the cheapest HDMI cable you can, it doesn't matter anyways.
The HDMI cables I'm using now were all $4 or less, and have been working perfectly for years.
