Drive C is not supposed to show up as hotswap/eject...Windows is supposed to ignore it. If you try and eject it, it will tell you it cant. The reason it shows up has to due with bios not behaving like it is supposed, and reporting the wrong shit to windows. I had a gigabyte AMD Phenom ii board that didnt showed it on one bios, didnt on another, and did again on the last one. Those drives showing up has almost nothing to do with windows.

Windows 10 is an abomination that goes against the user and does stuff that the user did not tell it to do. Today it's programs, tomorrow it removes picture, then it removes videos, then it removes all your data from the hard drive because your failed to pay the premium on your 2 TB hard drive that supposedly YOU own but Microsoft can do anything with because the OS itself is a "service".
The operating system isn't a good darn " service ", it's something that lives in your computer, on your local drive and does what you tell it to do
