Is the Vive going to change the world or is VR a meme?

Going to be the seed for a very large change.
VR headsets are a meme.
Full body VR, which will be made after headset VR, will change the world. And I hope it happens before I die so I can live out my .//Hack fantasies. Also different sexual shit, but that's a side thing in the .//Hack plan

> Hack Fantasies
Or, you could stop being a complete shut in and go experience those fantasies first hand. There's a vast world outside of that window waiting to be explored. Have at it, anon.

full body VR is a pipe dream.
Vr is a meme and the biggest revolution we've seen in vr so far is Google cardboard and kiss having oculus support for custom maid 3d
Neither.

It's going to stick around for video games for a while.
If it sticks hard enough there, other forms of media may successfully latch on.
I know Disney is working on some stuff to try get 360 cameras at sport events so they could be experienced in VR and such.
It's a matter of the content rising to meet the medium.
Rift will fail because they don't understand video game publishing or development.
Vive won't be a explosive product, but it will offer a core of strong existing software support, basically all first person source games, old and new.
Valve has expressed they intend to release a brand new game with the Vive, and this will also likely coincide with the release of their new game engine.
There's a number of other titles also releasing for the Vive through steam.
Valve understands software development, support, and publishing, and these are the things that will keep VR alive longer hopefully enough for it to catch on.
