I have some schematics in my head for the next generation of communications technology.
Encoding an information into food
What should I do?
>>51644786
Kill yourself desu senpai
It would take experts in the fields of neuroscience programming mycology and probably others to get this technology to an impressive level but I think a simple enough proto type could be built for minimal resources
So I'm thinking about starting an open source bio tech company

Wtf are you even on about you grubby nignog?
Encoding information in mycelium and possibly even plants using binary
>>51644913
>using binary
Okay. How does one encode it?
Li fi
Light sources that strobe binary lights

Thanks for going into so much detail senpai
Are you high?

>>>/x/
>Roleplay
I'm not high it may actually just be that simple but if not it's a starting point for developing the technology
Nope?
>>51644991
Still reckon you're high. How do flashes of light induce binary encoded data in plants and shit?
>>51645082
Never mind how you put information in food. Ask yourself how do you want information read off of food.
Okay but how fucking slow will it be to read data from the fucking rings in trees.
Even if this shit was possible, its impractical as fuck
Light sources that strobe binary code are being is a recently developed technology it's called li fi and its 100 times faster than WiFi. Apparently there is a way to convert household lights
>>51645111
>not trees mushrooms
Let me guess. You are 16.
>>51645141
If I eat a mushroom and in my trip I see an image that isn't stimulated by anything in the external reality isn't that image tantamount to the download of information through the consumption of biomass
>>51645187
The question is can we encode useful information in a similar format
I'm saying the answer is yes
>>51645214
I do intend to try and prove it
I'm just sharing the line of inquiry and the broad outline of the method
>>51645228
I think Li fi or an adaptation of is the way to do and then the question becomes how much information can be stored and how much of it can be decoded by the human body for practical use, I suspect their may be no limit to it
Just letting you know what a mad scientist is dreaming up don't worry you'll all be eating mushrooms to connect your brains to the internet in 5 years or so

MODS, BAN

Bullshit.
Where is the paper?
