You guys know that little rectangle used to fill up the dvd drive in your pc if you dont use one? I was trying to install that fucker and he slipped from my hand and vanished. It's probably somewhere nside the case. Wtf do I do? Pic unreltedish.
If you install gentoo on your computer it will enable you to unlock the side panel in the settings menu.
Just forget about it. So long as it isn't stopping a fan from spinning that is
>>5164478
It might have fallen between the font case and front fan. The side panel doesn't show that part
>>51644791
Can I just have it exposed? I mean muh ventilation, but I'd rather know what to plug it up with.

>Can I just have it exposed?
No, you absolutely cannot run a computer if it has any large openings to the outside air.

the fucking waste ....
> Wtf do I do?
Step away from the technology, OP. Your faggotness could contaminate the entire Internet if you don't jack off now.
REPEAT:
1) Step AWAY from the technology.
2) Jack off the Internets NOW!
>>51644820
I mean it's been going for a few hours. I guess i should cover it up now. How tho
>>51644820
>>51644840
However you want. It's a box.
>>51644777
>You guys know that little rectangle used to fill up the dvd drive in your pc if you dont use one?
No.
>>51644862
A piece of plastic that came with the box is fine?
>>51644879
What do you think?
>>51644840
the only reason you need a case is basically just on the basis that you get less dust
I believe you're referring to a drive bay cover. Unless you have the weirdest PC case on the fucking planet, that's not really doing much for ventilation anyways, keep it there
Guess you've gotta go out and buy an optical drive now OP
>>51644904
>>51644904
Is it ok to just leave it open?
>>51644992
yes
>>51644992
No. Nobody in the history of the world has ever run their computer with the side of their case open, or with any other openings, such as an open PCI slot or a fan opening. It violates all laws of nature and man.
>>51644992
>>51645008
Well O just turned my caze sideways and fingered the underside opening unt the cover was sideways and pushed it back out with mt phone. So I learned the hardway that it goes in from the outside, not the inside
