What's the best, decently priced pair of earbuds?
>>
Panasonic RPTCM125A
>>
I have a pair of cheap (~$30 three years ago) sennheiser headphones that are still going strong even after a trip through the washer and dryer
>>
Piston 3s are pretty good.
>>
soundmagic E10 are what I use, but the xiaomi pistons (version 2?) are a good, perhaps superior, alternative.

this

Found some on sale a few weeks ago for $20 or so. The best low-budget earbuds I've encountered in a long time.

why

For 10 bucks I get a pair of ifrogz and they're the best cheap ones I've used. Survive many trips through the washer too

I like them for the sound isolation, living underneath people the sound bugs me. Headphones don't isolate sound well enough for me.

To answer OP, I also use SoundMagic E10 and they are t-riffic.

Under $15:
KZ ed9
KZ ate
Piston 3
Monoprice 8320

any good wireless iems? for the gym

These are fine and they literally cost 6 bucks.

I just searched earbuds on amazon and these have about 25,000 reviews and 4.5 stars. I wouldn't spend more on earbuds anyway. They sound "fine" and they actually stay in your ears unlike the apple ones.

This anon speaks the truth, had this iem for about a year bought the rha 150 at the same time and those fuckers broke two times(warranty covered it)while the Philips is still going strong.

I'm no expert but the bass on the rhas were too damn annoying, shit gave me headaches while the Philips has a nice omph but no headaches, sound is much more clear than the rhas also(which cost me 13, while the Philips cost me 6)

Best bang for your buck honestly, bought 2 more over the weekend to have extras

pistons 3 are better overall but they are less comfy and and the sound isn't really any better
