I run Advanced SystemCare Ultimate, I think it uses the Bit Defender engine.
I have set times for it to run, and it doesn't use any resources until then.
Running, it peaks at about 5% CPU, and 120MB RAM.

Using Linux doesn't give you 100% free from virus, beside it only reduce the chance because nobody would use it, and because mostly Linux user have common sense and logic before do a thing.

ClamAV is literally the only one.
You don't need an antivirus for desktop use, they're all malware themselves. Literally all you have to do is not download malware executable files and run them, which only takes common sense.
