Welp, I feel fucking stupid
I ordered the GTX 960 SSC for black Friday and when it finally arrived I put it in my computer only to discover that the 6pin to 8pin power connectors that came with it aren't compatible with my psu.
What kind of connectors do I have to get to power the gpu?

This. That adapter is if you have two 6 pins to make an 8. It isn't the fucking modular cable for your power supply. You need the modular cable that has your PCI-E connectors.
