Why change the default radius?
>>51636578
It's from haasn's preferences.
It's like adding taps from madvr to increase sharpen.
So mpv is now the only one decent media player!
Madshi's revenge will be terrible.
Where's the layman's tutorial?
When will the new adaptive-sharpen version be released?
This shader is just awesome and should be included like the deband one.
Pfff why did they name it baka-mplayer! That's just ridiculous.
I hope a release of mpc-qt will be released very soon.
Damned mpv freetards and kodi dev team killed kodi dsplayer.
Who can support these awful people.
RIP Kodi DSPlayer

Can you winbabbys stop fucking samefagging?

What happened with DSPlayer? Is mpv available within Kodi finally? I just don't want to DirectShow anymore
Any of you fags know why i'm getting any OSC on my KDE linux mint install, I had it working perfectly on windows but it doesn't want to show up for some reason.
RIP madVR and madshi, mpv is much much much more better than this shit.

Shut up shitskin

We learn why MPDN has open source external extension system. Not what you think.
All these shits make our world very sad.
>>51645716
And nothing of value was lost
>>51645738
But I love nnedi3 so much...
Someone tell me why hwdec is usually set to "no". Mine is set to VDPAU. Isn't hardware decoding a good thing? It won't decode everything but when it can is it not good to use it?
>>51645787
Fix your eyes then, it’s terrible. Or use one of those terrible sharpen scripts, those are even sharper!
How to use nnedi3 as prescaler with 1080p videos on 1080p monitor?
Is it possible or it's for sd videos only?
wow, another thread forcing mpv, awesome
>>51645829
I asked myself the same thing.
OP says those settings need a good gpu, but he has hwdec disabled. Am I missing something?
>>51645829
Hardware decoding works one and only one way. It doesn't let you fiddle with settings like scaling or motion interpolation or colors. Most of the time you'll get better video with vo=opengl-hq than vo=vdpau unless you've got a complete potato of a GPU.
Kodi is better, mpv gui are all shits.
Damn there are so many mpv commits compared to mpc-hc.
And it seems madshi is in vacation again like this summer.
>>51646342
What about hwdec=vaapi or vdpau and vo=opengl-hq.
>>51646342
That can't be true.
When I put hwdec=vdpau and vo=opengl-hq, it works fine with hardware decoding. I know because I can see the interpolation and the CPU usage is low.
Nnedi3 as prescaler with adaptive-sharpen as post-shaders is fabulous.
>>51636516
> High configuration, needs a good graphic card.
>hwdec=no
holy shit
>>51646342
I'm pretty sure that's wrong. I'm not really an expert but my understanding was that hardware decoding works except for video filtering, which requires software encoding/decoding.
I'd love for someone to actually explain though.
