What do you guys use instead of fraps to record videos?
If it's for games, I use shadowplay.

Gtx 260 still gets me 45+ fps in battlefield 4, perfectly fine for me. Only reason I'm considering the upgrade is the 7950 is more powerful and I can max everything out.

I used to use DXtory, but the file sizes were huge (at least for me), but its a really good program. Now I switched over to OBS, and that's good as well, though I do miss my fps counter.

the file sizes are huge because it records super high quality or lossless depending on the codec. you're supposed to chuck it through vegas or something before uploading.

Everybody using shit like fraps, hypercam, etc should stop keking themselves and should use good freeware/gratisware like osb and loiloscope. If you willingly put up with shit programs that nag you to register, give you watermarks, etc while free programs of the same or better quality are available, you're a fucking retard.

I use the native recording software in Windows 10, doesn't record unless the game is in Windowed mode, but you can have it in Windowed mode and fullscreen, don't really see any FPS loss when recording with it.
