It's not about their utility. It's that killing an animal that we have partnered with for millenia for food or sport is troubling. I think it's bad to eat horses and dogs, even if the yellow menace will claim that it is their culture. It's also bad to eat cats but I don't think anyone does that. What WM do you use? are planning to use?
This is openbox with titlebars disabled, you should be able to do that in pretty much any WM. But openbox is easy.
