it could be a layered joke on the title referring to a Japanese battle. First "Aiura" is pronounced the same way as "iUra", like an apple product, hence Steve Jobs in the OP. On the other hand the Tale of Heike says that the spirits of samurai who fell during the battle of Dan-no-Ura are carried by Heike crabs, and that's why their backs sort of look like a human face. That explains why there are crabs everywhere in the OP, which happen to also be linked with Steve Jobs since he died from cancer

Holy fuck that used to make me mad; I actually disabled desktop compositing entirely because of it. There's no simple toggle to turn it off, and it doesn't match the other focus effects, and the devs all go #workingasintended #wontfix just like they do with the cashew

It's not that I don't need subs at all, but it doesn't take long to get to a point where translation nuances are moot as long as key actors and concepts are being identified. HS will occasionally swap out a name or take a clumsy over-localized approach to certain things but it's obvious when it happens and not a big enough problem to warrant waiting on slow subs.
Besides that, stream and TV rips are equally disposable to me. I get particular when batches start coming out.

Most things I watch, I don't rewatch. I'm at an awkward point where I can understand just enough to tell when a common phrase is obviously wrong/over-localized, and it casts doubt on the whole rest of the translation, which I rely on being accurate to understand everything else. I'm weeb enough that extremely strict translations are fine, since I can get the context; willfully incorrect ones are (to me) worse. For those reasons, I'm willing to wait for good video quality and tolerable subs. I just finished watching the latest season of Symphogear the other night.
