lol, typical indian winfags
>>
Are developers working on better scaling algorithms?
Especially one for 720p to 2160p purposes because these jinc scalers produce too much aliasings.
Nnedi3 is too gpu consuming at the moment, my macbook is too limited.
>>
We need something more aggressive than ewa_lanczos but less than nnedi3.
In madVR there is SuperRes that you can use for chroma upscaling and as post upscaler.
The result if just amazing, that's curious that mpv's developers didn't port it.
I think there is hlsl version inside the MPDN extensions repository.

Yes open source wins but it's sad for users.
The madVR video renderer is just the best one but freetards are too stupid to use its api.

Works perfectly on windows 10.

Don't blame me, this was for my grandmother.
I was surprised by the win10 boot time.
It's fucking faster than any non-tilling linux desktop environment.

Next gen mpc-hc is being developed right now.
And it will use mpv as internal player and will be cross-platform, that's awesome!

Next gen home media theater application use mpv as internal player.

Is there some shortcut to adjust subtitle position? I can't find a thing in documentation.
>>
OP config is pretty good.
I understand why /g/ prefer mpv than madvr now.
It makes picture sharp and clean without making it looks weird.
>>
The madVR quality is incomparable. This thread is just shilling.
People using mpv are just fucking retards with pedo addiction.
Almost all mpv features were stolen from madVR.
Madshi helped haasn and get absolutely no credits, that's intolerable.

just the best windows media player
mpv wins but mpc-hc and vlc are pretty popular shits
that's really annoying because mpv makes everything better

The only one I see shilling in this thread is you.

MADshi pls go
>>
>>51623793
Too bad most of them are not getting active development. I tried the baka and gnome front ends but they don't have enough video options.

I liked Bomi the most but it seems it's development is canceled.

upscaling my media to 4k using hq scalers like jinc without dropping 40% of the frames like i do with buttmadvr

Just use the fucking video player for fuck's sake, these threads are just reruns of reruns at this point.

Why when you tell freetards that their software lacks a feature they immediately start mocking anyone who would need that feature

How can I make a video playlist in windows?
>>
>>51626867
You can't. Install a real operating system
>>
>>51626867
Make a text file with each playlist item on a separate line. Save it as 'my playlist.m3u8'
>>
>>51626867
>>51627074
another choice if you're using command prompt and don't want to save files is
mpv path path path path
>>

but I literally can't use mpc, not on windows...
>>
>>51627091
You can also select a bunch of files in explorer and drop them on the mpv window.
>>
Name a real operating system
>>
>>51627162
too bad there's no way to do that with web links other than making a file or using command prompt as >>51627091 said.

How is this meme a thing?
The western world is clearly more entrenched in MShit than anyone else

>>

It's a shame that dropping a bunch of bookmarks from Chrome or Firefox's bookmarks manager doesn't work. I wonder if it's a bug in mpv or just that there isn't a standard OLE format for a list of URLs.

Source?
>>
>>51627347
nice meme NEET.
>>
>>51627617
ha-chan apparently sent madshi an email asking him specifics on how some feature worked (I think it might have been smoothmotion.) No source as far as I know. He might have said something on /g/ if you go archive digging.
>>
>>51621152
that's because it uses hybrid hibernation mode. you can't access the HDD at default settings in a dual-boot for this reason. if i use hibernation on debian it's way faster than windows at booting. i hope you don't use a SSD for swap.
>>
>>51625141
lachs0r is apparently waiting for a code signing cert before making a new build.
>>
>>51625141
This. Where's my fucking Windows build at?
