Omrom switches are a meme , micro switches on 5 bucks mouses can replace them just fine. They can be soldered in 10 secs.

I bought the SteelSeries Rival 300 recently, and so far it has been perfect. It's a bit larger than other mice, which fits nicely into larger hands. It's nice and sleek without all that gaudy bullshit OP is complaining about, and even has a few extra buttons for quick mapped inputs.
I am disappointed that it didn't come with a braided cable, but it never leaves my desk so I'm not very concerned with its durability. From reviews I read the main issue seems to be durability, as I hear reports of the rubber siding coming lose and the constant clicking polished the plastic where your fingers lie, away from the matte finish of the rest of the mouse.
However, I have yet to run into any of these issues, and the mouse itself is godtier accurate, and it feels nice under your hand. Would recommend.

Bought one, returned it two days later. Literally the worst mouse you can possibly buy.
-Uncomfortable as fuck no matter what position you adjust it to thanks to panel seams
-Cursor drifts for miles and miles when you're not touching the mouse because the sensors are garbage
-Literally the pinky rest plate didn't even fit the mouse, had the holes drilled in the wrong position
-Support didn't answer ticket within 24 hours
Sent it back and bought a based G700 with the money, best mouse I ever used.

Yours is certainly defective, it works perfectly here. The only thing that bugs me is the loudness of the mmb. I still have my G300s, not ready to sell it given the amount of reviews on Amazon that say the Perdition died in a couple of months.
