The one for fallout 4
Screenshot related shows the onscreen buttons to prove its an actual windows phone app
>>51605949
Watch out for that edge m8
Also you would need invasive surgery to implement that
>>
>>51605763

I've been working out in my head how I would go about building one, the main restriction is power usage

Anything designed to mount on your arm is more than likely going to be for business use and run Windows CE. I had the chance to use one of pic related at the business I used to work at but always passed it up in favor of one of the gun style scanners, kind of regret not grabbing one of those instead to dick around with for a day.

use a fusion core
>>
>>51607335
That is too much. They only need a microfusion cell.
>>
>>51607335
those don't exist
the closest thing is a RTG, and I'm not putting one on my wrist
>>
>>51605763
You can buy a chastity belt.
>>
>>51607364
Use polonium for the rtg. Really only a problem if you swallow.
>>

>I'm not putting one on my wrist
People literally put those things inside their fucking chest. When pacemakers were introduced they were RTG powered, since at the time nothing else could provide the needed power for a long enough time while being small enough to fit inside someone.

how small can you make RTG's?
for something like this I'm assuming 10-20w is what you need
>>
>>51607326

can you link me the full name of that device?
>>
>>51607429
that's a lot of power for a mobile device. Anyway I think you'd run into the problem that although you only need about two grams of plutonium to get a watt of heat, peltiers have pretty miserable efficiency. You'd need something closer to a hundred watts of heat to get 20 watts of electricity, that heat has to go somewhere, so you're strapping a CPU heatsink to your arm.

also plutonium-238 isn't exactly the kind of thing you can run down to the hardware store and buy a box of. If you're actually building something just put ordinary rechargeable batteries in it.

>>51607456
You can't afford it. They're over $1,000 each. If they're built anything like the equally expensive gun style scanners they should be durable as fuck though, a guy from another department claims he saw someone run over one of the gun style scanners with a ~5 ton forklift and the thing survived.

what about betavoltaic's?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betavoltaic_device
if I built it, I would certainly use plain old batteries, but if I had the chance to build something atomic powered, it certainly would be cool

It's the Motorola Symbol WT line if you're interested. WT stands for Wearable Terminal. Tiger Direct apparently sells them and I was a bit off on the price, they're $2000 each:

>plutonium
Is great for long life applications.
Polonium is superior for power now and I believe it is 5 to 10 times the power generation, but it may last a month or two.
>>
>>51607665
it's also even more fiercely radioactive, available in much smaller quantities, and harder and more expensive to make. To say nothing of every bit as tightly controlled.
