Am I doing this right?
Laptop guide, work-in-progress, but also more or less in a presentable format already.
There's literally a Laptop guide in the sticky Faggot.

Comments, suggestions, and criticisms appreciated.
What are your thoughts on 2-in-1s?
What is the "mainstream" category?

I have the HP Spectre, but that is because it is a good ultrabook, not because it is a 2-in-1. I have not looked beyond chromebooks, mainstream, ultrabooks, and gaming.
Mainstream: For everyday usage.
Anyone? Any laptops to recommend? Any on the list to remove?
No one?

Noted on the cut off. Thanks!
Will check the GE.
/g/uys, I've never owned a laptop and not planning in the near future, but my father needs one fast and I'm trying to find the best possible one, but since I'm not into laptops, everything seems so shitty when compared to desktops
>is 768p still a viable resolution for 15+ in laptops ?, because they make up like 60% of the market
>is intel core M a good series or should I stick to i3/5/7
>if he's not going to need a GPU should I just outright avoid dedicated GPUs or would having it not compromise battery life and temperatures and shit
>asus, lenovo, acer, dell are good brands ?
This shit is beyond retarded how can most phones seem better fitted for general use than laptops in 2015
