I have 16gb of ram now and it says 2400 mhz. What could be happening?
Its also possible that I am retarded and I am missing something.
Quad channel 4 gb shows as 1/4 of its mhz.

You can clearly see he's running Dual-channel, retard. Quad channel only exists on Intel Extreme platforms.
Not that it matters. Double Data rate will report in speccy as half of it's true speed, as it should.
In this case 2400 MHz should be reporting as 1200 MHz.
