I was planning to make my first gaming build and I have one put together here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t4qqjX
I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback or suggestions on it. I already have a nice ssd and an OS lined up. Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out.

Most generic build on the entire planet. GPU is aight, nothing special. Decent choice on the psu, consider a 750w.
>>
overall looks good so far

i can nitpick though. personally i would go with a evga supernova g2 line. they're built by super flower and based off of their leedex platform. long story short, fantastic power supply quality.

overall the cooler master v (vsm) line has scored well on review sites like jonnyguru. iirc its built by enhance boardwork.

since you're going with a 4690k i would go with at least a cooler master 212 evo. its cheap, but amazing. $30 cooler that coolers like a $60 cooler. it will provide decent overclocks.

the motherboard is good as well. it might be spammed with gamer fatality on it but its actually pretty decent. i had one myself a few years ago for my z77 and it ran great.

I'm assuming he's going to want to upgrade that gpu later on down the line, and stuff like the r9 390, furyx etc. Are power hungry as fuck. Don't know why I even bothered explaining go a bad shit poster.

I want to keep it below 750 if I can.

Power supply was my big concern so I will change that out. I was hoping I wouldnt need a better cooler besides the crappy one that comes with it but I will add it to the list.
Thanks for looking at it.

I put a 390x in mine, your build is very similar to mine.

I would suggest switching the psu to something like the antec high current gamer 620w. Can be had for around the same price with rebate and is a better unit.
