And even so, what's your point? On paper, in benchmarks, and in practice, the Exynos 7420 is the clear SoC of 2015. It came out in April, and nothing released throughout the rest of the year could match it or beat it in performance.
You can claim all you want that raw specs don't mean anything, but in 2 years raw specs are what's going to keep my phone at least passingly smooth and usable, whereas a lower power device will be choppy and struggling on the basics.

I pretty much gave up on the S6 even they introduced their new Exynos cpu. You can't install any custom ROM other than TouchWiz based ones. Other than that, I can't accept a phone without an SD card slot. I could get over a non removable battery, but I still don't know why is everyone pushing it so much. The battery life has gotten worse - there's that. I'm happy with my S5 for the moment and I'm getting the LG G4 next.

Nope, no lag that annoyed me. If you keep your ram usage reasonable, there will be no lag. I tested a dualcore phone, 500 mb RAM with a custom rom for 2 weeks, it worked fine for light browsing and IM, little lag tho.
